Theiving Hobbbitttts

Congratulations to The Sun who have managed to show, yet again there skill in reporting - namely total lazyness and just stealing others work!

Many of these images are taken from B3ta and other sites, and all the sun needed to do was credit them…but maybe the words were too long?

So Lonely

I’m all on my lonesome this weekend as the Wife has gone to Scotland with the kids to visit the relatives.

Because of this I overslept this morning

The house is very weird when there aren’t any kids in the house. Quiet…too quiet - even the dog was slightly freaked out!

I had the oportunity to have a bit of a MarioKart session online with Si, James Krez and Olex. All good fun and I gained many experiance points for my online ranking!

Also as an online game i would also recommend iSketch which is a fun online game where you say what you see! - I’m usually in the B3ta user created room!

Its-a Mario Time!

Tonight I am having a Mario Kart a thon! - The good thing about Mario Kart is that it can be played online with up to 12 players!

If it goes well this may be a regular thing as playing against humans is more fun than the AI - Humans are nastier and more erratic than the AI controlled players. For example you can always judge where to leave banana skins with the computer because they all take roughly the same route - humans don’t.

The other good thing about playing online is that I can play in my pants and no-one will notice!!

The Magic Of Hollywood?

A bit of a movie thing recently…

  • There are news reports saying that Nolan want Johnny Depp as the Riddler and Cher as Catwoman in the new Batman movie….Cher? - as if the character hasn’t been ruined enough by Halle Berry they now want Cher as Catwoman? If this is true, then let the protests begin….Johnny Depp I could maybe deal with! - The only problem with these rumours is that Nolan hasn’t even signed for a 3rd Batman movie….
  • The Watchmen seem to be in trouble - Warner Bros are arguing over who owns the rights to the movie…now it has been made - I smell a big payoff!!!
  • Jumping on the comic bandwagon is the rumour that ‘The Boys’ is being turned into a movie - I love this series and think that it could be great! - I see Vinnie Jones as Butcher!! Next I would love to see Transmetropolitan as a movie!

Some kind of fun!

From Box Office Mojo’s list of Top 48 Sci-Fi Films Based on a Book (or Story) (1980- present). Some of the titles on this list look suspicious. (Was Cocoon really based on a piece of written fiction? There’s a difference between an adaptation and a novelization.)

Here are the rules.

- Copy the list below.
- Mark in bold the movie titles for which you read the book.
- Italicize the movie titles for which you started the book but didn’t finish it.
- Tag 5 people to perpetuate the meme. (You may of course play along anyway.)

BHM

Or Bank Holiday Monday!

It is always nice to have a nice lie-in on a Monday….the last time I had one must have been about 10 years ago!!!

*Sigh*

Oh well - I’ve had a bit of a quiet one this weekend. Going swimming at guildford Spectrum with the kids wore me out and I did sleep well!

We went to Richmond Park with the dog today and that was good fun…I can’t help wondering if the place would be more fun if they released some wild wolves, bears and beavers there though - as it used to be!

Oh well!

Animated? Not sure!

  • During last month’s Comic-Con, footage was shown from the Hulk Vs. Wolverine animated movie. Apparently, Deadpool makes an appearance. One intrepid fan asked about the possibility of an animated Deadpool movie. Supervising producer and co-writer of the Hulk Vs. Wolverine movie, Craig Kyle, stated that the fans need to let the studio know what they want to see. The Deadpool Bugle suggests that if you support the idea of a Deadpool movie, you should contact Marvel Studios:
    Marvel Studios
    9242 Beverly Boulevard
    Suite 350
    Beverly Hills, CA 90210

  • I just saw the trailer for Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince ooOOoo! Spooky stuff - these movies are getting darker and darker!
  • Incredible stop motion love story - I’m not that soppy either, but this was amazing!
