What I’ve Read This Week:

ANNIHILATION: CONQUEST # 6
A pretty decent ending, which by all accounts will be leading up to a new ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ comic. I just enjoy Nova and i think that when he is written well he could be better than the Green Lanterns! Hopefully Ultron returns and Wraith just doesn’t dissapear as he is a cool character. 7.5/10
AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE # 11
This arc seems like it served no purpose! - KIA was a good idea, but who actually died? Slapstick could be a cool dark hero, the return of another dead character to the Initiative, and cameos from the MA didn’t help make this better. More Taskmaster please!. 4/10
CAPTAIN AMERICA # 37
The slow burn continues, i enjoy the art on this title and i have no idea where this is going - is that another character returning from the dead?! Is he a Skrull? Is the Skull a Skrull? Bucky seems fine in my opinion as Cap. A random cameo by Clint was strange for where it is. 6.5/10
Captain Marvel #5 (of 5)
Another dissapointment - there were places that this mini series could have gone, but no. The tie in spoiled this title there could have been so many more options. The Iron Man and Mrs Marvel dynamic is still working though! 4/10
Ghost Rider #22
I’m really enjoying this title and its one that i look out for. The split between Blaze and the Rider works on many levels and the story is moving on at a great pace. The main story covers many smaller stories which make each issue something different. I’m not crazy about the art, but to me its good enough and the writing carries it all. 8/10
Incredible Hercules #116
Another good title, which potentially could be spoiled by the SI tie in. Herc is a good character and the road trip idea is one that although it has been used before, could work again. 7/10
Iron Man #28
Iron Man doesn’t look as bad this time, he still has far to go in the eyes of fans though. “Nick Fury dirty” - that could work, an another cliff hanger for another time. 6.5/10
Wolverine: Origins #24
Looks like they are going to miss out on some dynamic between Deadpool and Wolverine after this issue, although i could be wrong. The entrance of Daken at the end makes the next issue a must die. Wolverine still is a precence even when trussed up! 7/10
X-Men: Divided we stand, book 1.
A collection of short stories showing how the artists formerly known as the X-men are fairing. I found this book a bit pointless, but if it serves a purpose then its ok. It doesn’t seem that way though! 5/10
